LETTER FROM THE MAYOR
WELCOME to New Site: A close community that embraces small town values. Thank you for visiting our site. With a population of a little more than 770, a rich history and proximity to beautiful Lake Martin, New Site is a wonderful place to call home.
We are home to Horseshoe Bend School with 825 in grades K-12. The New Site Health Complex opened in 2021 and offers a full-service medical clinic and pharmacy. New Site presently has fourteen businesses operating within our Town limits, all of which help to make our community a great place to live, work, play, raise a family, and do business. We are a safe community, and the Town government is efficient, effective, and fiscally sound.
But one of the greatest things about New Site, and the thing I love most about it, is the people. All that New Site has become and all that New Site will be is rooted in their talents, dedication, and hard work, and I couldn’t be more proud to serve as their Mayor.
I invite you to come visit our community, businesses, and churches – all of which you will find most welcoming. Please stop by our Town Hall while here. Our employees and public officials would consider it an honor to serve you during your visit.
